EVERYDAY 22 VETERANS COMMIT SUICIDE DUE TO PTSD

The goal of Battle Buddies is to return the veterans to civilian life with independence. Through fundraising and donations, Battle Buddies has continued to grow to place more service dogs with veterans each year. 

Battle Buddies was started in 2012 by John & Jo Anne Creed. John a Marine Veteran and Jo Anne saw the need for service dogs in South Carolina. Service dogs begin training at 8 weeks old and are placed with their veteran around 14 months at no cost. 

Battle Buddies has partnered with Clemson University Veterinary Students for the past 3 years to raise and socialize puppies for their first 12 months.
